Hold the humidity

By: Garden Gate staff
Use this helpful tip to help newly planted house plants take off faster.

Hold the humidity

Use the plastic bags that you find in cereal boxes to cover newly planted cuttings of house plants. They maintain humidity, which helps the soil stay moist so the plants root and get settled easier. Remove the cover after a couple of weeks and gently pull the stem. If it doesn’t give, the roots have set and you can leave the plastic off.
